If you are spending money on Google Adwords, you'll want to ensure you are getting a good return on your investment. Setting this up involves using both Google Analytics and Google Adwords. Follow these steps to track how many conversions your ads are getting.
In Google Analytics
First, add the Google Analytics (GA) Tracking ID to your Ticketleap account.
Next, create a goal in Google Analytics to track each completed transaction. Click the Admin button in the bottom left corner of your GA dashboard. Make sure you've selected the correct Account, Property and View, then click Goals.
Google Analytics will walk you through a goal setup and a goal description. In Goal Description, be sure to select the Type of goal as Destination.
Under Goal Details, use the drop down menu to change the Destination to Regular expression. Then copy and paste this into the text box:
/review-order/.*/im-going
Your last step in Google Analytics is to save this goal. From there, switch over to Google Adwords.
In Google Adwords
Once you've logged into your Google Adwords account, click the Tools icon in the top right corner, then click Conversions.
Click the blue Add button to create a new conversion action.
I
Select Import as the kind of conversion you want to track.
Select Google Analytics as what you want to import.
This will bring up a list of the goals you created in Google Analytics. Select the goal you want to count as a conversion, then click Import and continue (it will turn blue once you have at least one goal selected).
Once imported, you can edit the settings of the conversion the same way you would had you created it in Google Adwords.
