How do I choose who pays the ticketing fees?

Event organizers can choose who pays the ticketing fees on an event-by-event basis. 

If you are using Ticketleap Payments as your payment processor you can pass on both the ticketing fees, and the 3% payment processing fee to your ticket buyers for online orders, or you can choose to pay them yourself. If you are using PayPal or Authorize.net, you may pass on the Ticketleap ticketing fee, but not the payment processing fee. With PayPal and Authorize.net the payment processing fees must be paid by you, the event organizer.

To change these settings in your account, first click the Events button at the top of your dashboard. Select the event you want to change the settings for. 

Then click the Details tab. From there, click the Advanced Event Settings button.

You can individually select Paid by Buyer or Paid by Me for Online Processing Fees, Online Service Fees,Box Office Processing Fees. If your tickets are $5 or less and you would like to use our special pricing for $5 and below tickets please see here. 

Box Office Processing Fees are always paid by you, the event organizer as in many cases you cannot charge a buyer more for making a purchase with a credit card rather than with cash. 

Click Save Changes, and you're all set.
